Plan de Naturalización Urbana de Gijón has been published in Experiencias municipales en renaturalización de ciudades

The Biodiversity Foundation of the Ministry for Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge has launched a new line of work to promote urban renaturalisation and the resilience of cities. The aim is to reinforce the role of nature and the ecosystem services it provides to improve the quality of life and health of citizens and, at the same time, to fight climate change and biodiversity loss.

In this sense, they have published Experiencias municipales en renaturalización de ciudades with several examples of municipalities in Spain that have addressed this issue through urban projects.

On page 27, you can read about the Urban Naturalisation Plan of Gijón in which we collaborate with the Gijón City Council.
