PRESENTATION OF THE URBAN NATURALISATION MASTER PLAN FOR GIJÓN/XIXÓN AT CONAMA

On 23 November, the Urban Naturalisation Master Plan for Gijón/Xixón, the plan we have been working on this year at AD Arquitectura Urbana, was presented at CONAMA.

Juan Carlos Martínez, Head of Parks and Gardens of the city of Gijón, showed the strategies of the plan in a 2045 scenario in the session on Adaptation to climate change in the planning of municipalities, together with other reference territories such as Barcelona or Bilbao.

The different programmes of the plan show the synergies of transformation of public space and collaboration of the built environment to achieve sustainability objectives with a double function for the mitigation and adaptation to climate change.
