This year's proposal in the Gijón City Hall pavilion at the International Trade Fair will be called 'Gijón, naturally'. It will be dedicated to the various renaturalization projects launched in the city, including the Piles River. Thus, they promise "an interactive tour through different multimedia panels in which you can cross a river and even ride in a balloon". Activities that can be done from Saturday, August 6, the day the Fair opens to the general public, although its inauguration by the authorities will take place on Friday 5 at six in the afternoon at the Palacio de Congresos, and, as is traditional, then an agape will be served at the Tendayu del Pueblo de Asturias.
The exhibition will be complemented by a second exhibition outside the stand, which will be displayed through murals created by local artists recreating well-known places in Gijón. In addition, the pavilion will have workshops and activities for all ages through which they will inform about the projects that are being carried out on naturalization.
The last step will be to draw up the technical document that includes the actions to be carried out and the spaces where each one will be applied, and which must contain a plan "taking into account the projection of the trees for at least the next 25 years".
